On the evening of May 16, the finals of the 24th Golden AutumnArts Festival Dance Competition, themed Dancing Youth, were successfully held at the Grand Auditorium on the West Campus (Mafangshan Campus). The School of Materials Science and Engineering captivated the audience with their Mongolian dance performance “Pride of the Grasslands”, which radiated passionate and unrestrained energy—like the wild wind and galloping horses across the grassland. The performance earned a well-deserved Second Prize.
Under dazzling stage lights, the dancers of the School performed in perfect unison. Their movements were powerful and expressive, and their eyes shone with a deep love and dedication to the art of dance. Through their performance, they interpreted the vitality of youth and turned sweat into a dream-filled display, delivering a stunning visual experience that was met with applause and cheers from the audience.
This award-winning performance was the result of the dancers' tireless efforts and the artistic guidance of instructor Yuan Sichen. It highlighted not only the students’ artistic talent but also the essence of School of Materials Science and Technology—excellence and vitality.
